Dimensions

The dimensions of a vehicle are crucial for your driving and parking experience. Below you will find all the important dimensions of the Roadcar models - from the compact length to the practical interior height - so that you know exactly what to expect.

With a length of approx. 5.40 meters, the R540 is the compact model in the series. With a width of 2.05 meters and a height of around 2.60 meters, it fits easily into most parking spaces. The wheelbase is around 3.45 meters. The unladen weight is around 2,600 kg, allowing the R540 to carry a high payload of around 850 kg despite its compact dimensions.

The R600 and R601 models are both just under 6 meters long, 2.05 meters wide and around 2.60 meters high. With a wheelbase of 4.05 meters, they offer stable and comfortable road holding. The unladen weight of the R600 is around 2,700 kg, while the R601 is slightly heavier at around 2,750 kg. Both models have a permissible total weight of 3,500 kg, which means you can use a payload of around 800 kg for the R600 and around 750 kg for the R601.

The largest model in the series, the R640, measures around 6.40 meters in length, with the usual width of 2.05 meters and a height of 2.60 meters. The wheelbase is also approx. 4.05 meters. The unladen weight is around 2,800 kg, with a payload of around 700 kg.

Options

The models offer different sleeping configurations, tailored to your needs:

• R540 & R600: Both models have a transverse bed in the rear, which is particularly suitable for compact layouts. The transverse bed offers enough space for two people and provides a comfortable sleeping experience thanks to the width of the vehicle.
• R601: This model stands out with its two fixed double beds - ideal for families or small groups. The sleeping areas are cleverly arranged so that you don't need to convert them and are always ready for the night.
• R640: A real highlight awaits you here: twin beds lengthways - particularly comfortable for couples who want to sleep independently of each other or simply want more freedom of movement when sleeping. The beds can also be joined together to form a large sleeping area if required.

Comfort

All beds in the Roadcar range are equipped with high-quality mattresses that rest on stable slatted frames or firm bases. They offer a comfortable firmness and good ventilation - for a sleeping climate that comes close to your bed at home, even when you're on the road.
