Carado is a German brand for motorhomes and camper vans, founded in 2006 in Leutkirch in the Allgäu region and part of the Erwin Hymer Group (since 2019 under Thor Industries). Production takes place at the Neustadt site in Saxony. The brand stands for functional, reliable motorhomes at fair prices - ideal for beginners, couples and families, and with a clear focus on suitability for everyday use, ease of operation and a strong price-performance ratio, Carado has established itself as a major player in the entry-level segment. Foundation & company history​

Carado was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of the Erwin Hymer Group to offer high-quality yet affordable motorhomes for newcomers. Production started at the newly built plant in Neustadt in Saxony, which is operated by Capron GmbH - a joint venture between Hymer and Dethleffs.

Since then, Carado has continued to develop

2013: Winner of the German Camping Club e.V. safety award and overall winner of the „König Kunde Award“ from the trade magazine „Reisemobil International“.
2017Production of the 40,000th motorhome and expansion of the product portfolio to include integrated models and the „VLOW“ camper van series.
2022Completion of the 100,000th vehicle - an EDITION15 semi-integrated T135.

The T448, T449 and T449 Edition25 models have a generous amount of space with a queen-size bed and a comfortable seating area, ideal for longer trips.
